APLICATII IEFTINE SI EFICIENTE PENTRU POMPE SI SCHIMBATOARE SURSELOR DE CALDURA DIN SOL

Ideea de bază a proiectului Cheap-GSHPs este de a reduce substantial costul total al proprietatii, compus din costurile de investiții și de exploatare, de a creste siguranta sistemelor geotermale de mică adâncime în timpul instalării și operarii și de a crește gradul de conștientizare a acestei tehnologii în întreaga Europă.
Pentru a reduce costul total al sistemelor geotermale de mică adâncime cu 20-30%, proiectul va îmbunătăți tehnologiile actuale de foraj / instalare și design-ul Schimbatoarelor surselor de caldura prin sol (GSHEs), în combinație cu o abordare holistică de ingineri pentru a optimiza intregul sistem pentru a construi si identifica aplicarea de incalzire si de racire
In functie de diferitele condiții subterane și climatice existente în cadrul UE.
Aspectele de siguranță și de reglementare vor fi de asemenea abordate în toate componentele sistemului, incepand de la aspectele geologice asupra instalației pana la integrarea acestora in cladiri istorice, existente si noi.
Evoluțiile vor fi demonstrate in sase locatii, în timp ce instrumentele vor fi aplicate mai multor cazuri demo virtuale. Proiectul include manuale și cursuri de formare explicative, în special dedicate cererii pentru clădiri istorice și culturale, pentru a se ajunge la diferitele grupuri țintă și pentru a reduce pragul de intrare pe piață.

CHEAP AND EFFICIENT APPLICATION OF RELIABLE GROUND SOURCE HEAT EXCHANGERS AND

PUMPS

The basic idea of Cheap-GSHPs project is to substantially reduce the total cost of ownership, composed out of investment and operating costs, increase the safety of shallow geothermal systems during installation and operation and increase the awareness of this technology throughout Europe.

To reduce the total cost of shallow geothermal systems by 20-30 %, the project will improve actual drilling/installation technologies and designs of Ground Source Heat Exchangers (GSHEs) in combination with a holistic engineering approach to optimize the entire systems for building and district heating and cooling applications across the different underground and climate conditions existing within the EU.

The safety and regulatory aspects will also be addressed across all the components of the system going from the geological aspects over the installation to the integration within historical, existing and new buildings.

The developments will be demonstrated in six sites whilst the tools will be applied to several virtual demo cases. The project includes comprehensive training manuals and courses, even specially devoted to the application to historical and cultural buildings, in order to reach the different target groups and to lower the market entry threshold.

Project objectives:

Objective 1 To develop thematic geological maps at municipal level

Objective 2 – To improve drilling and GSHE technologies from a design, material and installation machine perspective

Objective 3 – To develop and make available via web a combined GSHE and heat pump modeling software

Objective 4 – To build a decision support tool in order to identify the best shallow geothermal system

Objective 5 – To develop and demonstrate a two-stage heat pump for higher temperatures

Objective 6 – To demonstrate the developments in 6 different real case studies and 10 virtual case studies

Objective 7 – To provide a solid and large basis for implementation of low enthalpy geothermal systems in Europe

Objective 8 – To build an exploitation platform with business models

Objective 9 – To perform recommendations for the harmonization of standardizations, regulations and authorizations

In the 4th year there will be organized courses of presention for the results of the European project.

Cheap GSHPs is designed to generate outputs that can be disseminated and exploited at a series of levels:

  • To develop innovative technologies which will be further exploited and disseminated by the Cheap GSHPs partners, as highlighted in the table below where there will be short, medium and long term market impacts.
  • To develop supporting tools for implementing best possible reuse schemes with lowest risk and greatest environmental benefit, with innovative risk and environmental assessment methodologies.
  • To facilitate new innovative tools, action plans, business models and recommendations for energy efficiency technologies financing and pricing.
  • To provide a knowledge exchange platform which will ensure the continuity of the initiative after the Cheap GSHPs project will be finished.

The target groups addressed by Cheap GSHPs are:

  • Key target groups: Specialists involved in the GSHP industry (HVAC engineers, installers, drillers, designers, architects etc.); SMEs from the construction industry;
  • Secondary target groups: Policy bodies at local, regional and national level (municipal planners, energy managers in public authorities responsible for decisions in the energy field); Standards bodies;
  • Tertiary target groups: Scientific Community and Educational Institutions; public entities, chambers of commerce and industry, development agencies, energy agencies, centres of environmental expertise, professional associations, journalists & media; general public.

Role of PIETRE EDIL in the project:

Pietre has in the project the main role to bring the requests and need of the end users. In fact it is a global engineering, architecture, energy saving, design and planning company that look for the solutions to the demand of owners of all kind of buildings historical and not. It will furnish all the data necessary to develop the modelling of a virtual case in Romania and will help in the dissemination in the Romanian market of the new technologies of Cheap GSHP’s. Main Exploitable results: As end user (architects and engineers) contribution to the knowledge of barriers and needs in the application of the new technologies in the market construction

PROJETTO CHEAP (ITALIANO)

APPLICAZIONE EFFICIENTE ED ECONONOMICA DELLE POMPE E SCAMBIATORI DI CALORE NEL SOTTOSUOLO

L’idea di base del progetto Cheap-GSHPs è di ridurre sostanzialmente il costo totale di proprietà, composto da costi di investimento e di gestione, aumentare la sicurezza dei sistemi geotermici superficiali durante l’installazione e il funzionamento e aumentare la consapevolezza di questa tecnologia in tutta Europa.
Per ridurre il costo totale dei sistemi geotermici superficiali del 20-30%, il progetto migliorerà le effettive tecnologie di foratura e installazione e gli scambi di scambiatori di calore a terra (GSHE) in combinazione con un approccio ingegneristico olistico per ottimizzare l’intero sistema di costruzione e di distretto l’applicazione del riscaldamento e raffreddamento nelle diverse condizioni climatiche esistenti all’interno UE.
Gli aspetti di sicurezza e regolamentazione verranno affrontati anche in tutti i componenti del sistema che vanno dagli aspetti geologici dell’installazione all’integrazione all’interno di edifici storici, esistenti e nuovi.
Gli sviluppi verranno dimostrati in sei siti mentre gli strumenti saranno applicati a diversi casi di dimostrazione virtuale. Il progetto comprende manuali e corsi di formazione completi, anche appositamente dedicati all’applicazione a edifici storici e culturali, al fine di raggiungere i diversi gruppi di destinazione e di abbassare la soglia di ingresso sul mercato.
